Friends Services for the Aging is an association of Quaker organizations that provide services to older adults in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It was founded in 1991 to facilitate cooperation among these independent programs and to enhance the quality of their services. FSA accomplishes this through collaboration in staff training and development, marketing, referrals, planning, and other joint efforts.
FSA provides an information and referral service and publishes a Guide to Quaker Services for the Aging in California, Delaware, Maryland, Massacusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
Need help in considering your options? Staff at Friends Services for the Aging are available to provide further information, knowledgeable referrals, and consultation.
FSA also provides the services of Friends Board Consulting to its own member organizations and to the wider Religious Society of Friends. Friends Board Consulting helps its clients integrate Quaker values and process with the best governance practices cited by secular experts. More ...
