Friends House Retirement Community (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Friends House Retirement Community consists of studio and one-bedroom apartments, cottages, and Friends Nursing Home. Most apartments are administered under the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines, and are for those of moderate income. The Cottage Program consists of individual cottages, duplexes and apartments. The 106 bed nursing facility providing assisted living services, nursing home care and dementia care is connected to the apartment complex.

Three apartment buildings located near Center City Philadelphia provide housing that is government subsidized for people who meet income eligibility requirements. Residents live in safe, well–maintained apartments and in a friendly environment. Supportive outside services (such as meals, home health aids, and visiting nurses) can be arranged. The organization sponsors or manages other housing programs for people of all ages.
