Jeanes Hospital
The only Quaker-founded acute care hospital in the country, Jeanes Hospital is located in Northeast Philadelphia, a part of the Temple University Health System. Jeanes offers a number of services to meet the needs of older adults. LifeStrides Senior Hotline is a free informational resource for seniors, staffed by professionals at Senior Health Associates at Jeanes (SHA). SHA is a primary care practice dedicated to the needs of older Philadelphians. Jeanes Home Health and various rehabilitation programs serve older adults as well as the wider public. Each fall Jeanes offers free flu and pneumonia shots for seniors and prostate screenings for male seniors. Other programs serve the medical needs of people of all ages.
