Pennswood Village
Opened in 1980, Pennswood Village is tucked onto an 82-acre site in historic Bucks County encompassing meadows, woodlands, streams, walking paths, and native flora and fauna. A wide range of activities and events are planned and coordinated by residents of this CCRC, including concerts, day trips, lectures, and college courses taught in our classrooms. Close links to George School and Newtown Friends School provide opportunities for residents to get involved on these adjacent campuses. The Passmore Center offers residents a full range of exercise and fitness programs, from warm water exercise or cool water lap swimming in the two pools, to use of state-of-the-art cardio and resistance training equipment under the guidance of certified instructors. The values articulated by Pennswood Village’s founding Board continues to lead it to a practice of inclusion -- welcoming women and men of all races, colors, religions, national origins, and sexual orientation.
