Member Services
Board Development
General Description: This program offers an array of services to boards of FSA member organizations. Some are offered in collaboration with MHS Alliance and Fellowship of Brethren Homes affiliates.
Compliance & Privacy
General Description: FSA administers the Peace Church Compliance Program which provides Brethren, Mennonite and Quaker organizations in long term care with compliance and HIPAA privacy services.
Consulting Assistance from FSA Peers
General Description: FSA facilitates peer-to-peer consultation in many forms, many of which are informal connections among peers.
Diversity
General Description: FSA encourages and supports initiatives by organizations to hire, serve, and include in governance roles people from an array of ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds.
Insurance
General Description: Three insurance funds are available to member groups for participation: FSA Workers' Compensation Fund, Peace Church Risk Retention Group, and Resource Partners
Leadership Development & Training
General Description: FSA's staff training is available to FSA members in a number of different contexts.
Marketing and Information & Referral
General Description: Growing out of the work of the admissions and marketing directors, FSA has facilitated occasional shared advertisements in senior publications and elsewhere.
Peer Groups
General Description: FSA convenes meetings of peers from across FSA's membership. At this time the active groups are Admissions and Marketing, Development, CFO/Business Managers, Directors of Nursing, Facilities, Human Resources Facilities, and Resident Services/Social Workers/Activities. FSA is open to starting new Peer Groups when there is interest expressed from multiple facilities.
Quaker Orientation
General Description: This long-standing program of FSA provides opportunities for organizations to orient their non-Quaker staff members to Quaker beliefs, history, practices, and worship. Workshops are held semi-annually at Pendle Hill. The program can also be presented on-site to organizations at a distance or wanting to engage a larger group in the process.
Risk Management
General Description: The Risk Management Program (a part of the Peace Church Compliance Program) serves organizations that are either participants in the Peace Church Compliance Program or the Peace Church Risk Retention Group and are committed to a collaborative approach to risk management in all areas of their organizations.
