Compliance & Privacy
Staff: Karla Dreisbach, Senior Director, Peace Church Compliance Program FSA administers the Peace Church Compliance Program which provides Brethren, Mennonite and Quaker organizations in long term care with compliance and HIPAA privacy services. Roles of the program include: quarterly audits, staff hot-line, staff training, mock surveys, and more. Organizations must appoint a Compliance Liaison and the CEO must serve on the Compliance Oversight Council. By virtue of a contract between the program and each participating organization, the Senior Director serves as each organization's Compliance Officer. Cost: This is a cost-based program. The fee for this service in 2009 is $19,000. Privacy-only services are available to those organizations that do not receive federal reimbursements. Cost: Currently $5,000 annually. Certain services are also available on a per diem basis to Peace Church organizations that are not part of the Peace Church Compliance Program. Cost: Determined per project |
