We are currently searching for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and healthcare-experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to join our leadership team. This position would act as the NHA for the small Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) within Foulkeways, while specializing in quality improvement (QI) throughout the entire organization.
As the licensed NHA for the SNF, this individual would coordinate and participate in annual/random Department of Health Surveys. This NHA will participate in Compliance initiatives, as well as training and local, state, and federal regulation education in the community. In addition to their work as the NHA, this individual would serve as the Director of Quality Improvement for the entire community. This position has the responsibility to plan, coordinate, implement, evaluate, and direct all quality improvement, risk, and insurance programs within Foulkeways to control quality, risks, and losses. This individual will also serve as the Risk Manager for the organization and coordinates all risk management programs and audits.
In partnership with other departments, this position will work to analyze and classify risks to the organization and will assist is setting processes in place to mitigate risk and promote quality improvement. They will lead the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and oversee its initiatives and projects. This position will prepare reports and utilize technology to ensure proper storage of information and metrics for use in analysis and litigation. This position will also participate in many important operational functions, including, but not limited to, budgeting, regulatory/licensure inspections, committee meetings (Compliance, Risk, Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement, Safety Committee, etc.), and mandatory conferences as required for the position.

Requirements:
- Possess thorough knowledge of current local, state and federal regulations
- Minimum 5 years prior related experience in a long-term care and/or health care setting
- Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in Pennsylvania or a willingness to obtain licensure within the near future is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows computer systems: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations, manuals and business periodicals
- Experience utilizing incident report software is preferred
- Able to effectively communicate with residents, staff and other management team leaders
- Knowledge of and experience with Friends Services Alliance (FSA) is a plus
