The Dining Health Services Assistant is responsible for the delivery and service of food to residents in the Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing areas. The Dining Health Services Assistant organizes resident menus, assembles and checks meal trays on tray line, restocks supply areas, responds to call-downs and delivers food as needed to the Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Areas. The DHS Assistant provides table service of meals to residents, visitors and guests in the Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facility dining rooms according to designated meal schedules and procedures. The DHS Assistant interacts directly with residents, visitors and guests in a courteous and cooperative manner to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The DHS Assistant will ensure the accuracy, attractiveness and safety of the food being served on tray line and in the dining rooms. The DHS Attendant interacts directly with the Nursing staff regarding diet orders, stock, providing nourishments and filling the dietary requests of residents. The DHS Assistant works with the Sanitation staff in delivering and busing meal trays and carts for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facility areas. The DHS Assistant will perform duties in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements and company procedures.

This is a FT Position and you will be scheduled to work 37.5 hours a week. Your primary shift will be 7am-3pm and will include working every other weekend along with some holidays. We are seeking an individual that can work well in a fast paced environment with previous food experience and that enjoys working with the elderly population.
