FSA Internship Program

The FSA Internship Program is a fantastic opportunity to introduce young adults to the possibilities of working in the senior living field. Sponsored jointly with Friends Foundation for the Aging, this program provides 8-10 week experiences for college students to live and work in a Life Plan Community/CCRC and gain experience and exposure to this industry. We work closely with several universities to place motivated students in these spots.  Interns have worked in a number of different departments, including Administration, Human Resources, Social Work and Food Service.

2019 will mark the 8th summer for the program; we have placed more than 45 interns in a number of different FSA member locations. Read more...

Current FSA peer groups include: admissions and marketing, administrative assistants, human resources, technology, development, resident services CFOs/business managers and CEOs.
