Join us at The Gathering, a conference of faith-based human services associations. Going beyond the confines of our usual annual conferences, The Gathering brings together human service leaders from five faith traditions: Mennonite, Methodist, Presbyterian, Quaker, and United Church of Christ.
The Gathering will include time for each association to meet on its own, and other opportunities for the five to join together in celebration and discussion. The meeting will consist of plenty of time for learning, listening, reflecting, and forming new ways to work together in ministry.
The conference will focus on how we carry unique gifts, experiences, talents, and skills into our work and service. We will explore building an intentional network of leaders that stand together to magnify our vision, amplify our voice, and advance our mutual organizations.
The meeting will offer presentations from leaders who have demonstrated how to lift the human spirit. Topics for various workshops will be generated by our association’s members, bringing fresh ideas, innovative approaches, and best practices. We will celebrate, discern, and strategize for the future in large and small group settings.
Our time together will include spiritual reflection, learning from and listening to each other, and forging enduring relationships.
We’ll even have some fun together!
