The conversation has elevated in recent years related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging within the senior living & care sector. The momentum is positive, but we have a long way to go to advance these goals within our organizations. This session will focus on diversity among board representation as well as within the leadership team, which also sets the tone for the organization’s overall commitment. This discussion goes well beyond simple recruitment efforts, but expands into building a culture and deep commitment to DEIB throughout the organization. We will hear from peer leaders about how they have committed to DEIB, how their journey unfolded and what they suggest for others who want to advance these efforts within their organizations.
