Pennswood Village is currently seeking a Lifeguard for an Indoor pool for a Senior Living Community. Flexible hours.

The lifeguard is responsible to utilize preventative lifeguarding practices to ensure the safety of residents, staff and guests in the aquatic area. The lifeguard prevents and responds to all emergencies, enforces all pool rules fairly and consistently, greets pool attendees, tests the pool water chemicals and temperatures and maintains accurate logs, and reports unsafe conditions or faulty equipment in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or in process.
  • Have and maintain current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certificates.
  • Previous experience strongly preferred. Experience working with the senior population a plus.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., standing, stooping, bending, lifting a minimum of 30 lbs.
