MDS Interviews
This session will focus on the MDS interview process. Interviews are “the voice of the resident,” and CMS has prioritized resident interviews as part of the MDS process. Additional interviews have been added over the past few years. The session will start by identifying all current MDS interviews and then reviewing those proposed to be added to the MDS assessment. The interviewing process, documentation to support interviews and accurate MDS coding of interviews will be discussed.
