Overview
Nestled in the heart of Happy Valley, Foxdale Village is a Quaker Directed Continuing Care Retirement Community located close to the culture and entertainment of State College and Penn State University.  Foxdale Village began in 1985 as the dream of some members of the State College Friends Meeting.  Their community is modeled after other Quaker-directed communities in southeast Pennsylvania.  After much planning and guidance from these communities, construction began in 1987 and was completed in 1990.

Their beautifully landscaped campus includes 148 cottage homes and 57 apartments for residential living and healthcare available onsite in both Darlington House, their Personal Care center and in Anthony House, the Skilled Nursing Area.
