Introduce a Student to Work Opportunities in the Field of Aging Services
Over the past decade, we have placed more than 50 interns in different FSA member locations. Many of these students had not considered working in the senior living field prior to their internship, and we know that nearly 10 percent of past FSA interns are working in the industry now – proof that the program does make a difference.
Interns are provided with housing, meals and the possibility of a stipend. They will be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred for initial transportation to the host site and their return trip. They are required to write a synthesizing report at the conclusion of their internship.
