Christina Wildrick

Director of Risk Management

Christina brings has close to 30 years of legal and healthcare risk management experience. Her background includes 14 years of litigation experience. While practicing, Christina focused on the defense of complex, high exposure personal injury cases with a primary focus on medical and other professional malpractice; long-term care cases; as well as general liability, insurance coverage and product liability matters. Her responsibilities included defending physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare providers from case inception, up through and including jury selection, trial and appeals.  Christina also provided both in-house and outside seminars for medical staff of clients and insurance carriers on varied subjects, including appropriate documentation of medical records, reduction of risk and increasing quality of care.

Her expertise includes development of risk management policies, procedures and assessment/audit tools for long-term care high risk areas in senior living settings; providing education and training for all levels of staff, including physicians, nursing, certified nursing assistants/nursing assistants, marketing/admissions, housekeeping, maintenance, and also residents; and oversight and administration of the database for event reporting software

Christina is a member of the New York State Bar, American Bar Association, American Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), Philadelphia Area Society of Healthcare Risk Management (PASHRM), and the LTC Risk-Legal Committee. She has been a speaker at various regional and national conferences and seminars on topics relevant to long-term care risk management, including Fair Housing issues, falls, and defensive documentation.

Christina received her bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and her JD degree cum laude from Tulane Law School, where she received the American Jurisprudence Awards for both First Amendment Freedoms and American Legal History
